This Spring Girl Scouts of New Jersey are taking over the state! All four councils are hosting statewide STEM Events that will challenge your thinking skills and require some serious teamwork.
Visit the deep sea with aquatic sciences, learn about codes and circuits, online safety and virtual threats, or expand your horizons at the STEM Conference or STEM Fest! No matter where you are we’ve got something to pique your curiosity. Spring into STEM this March with us! See below for a quick list of our events:
STEM in Action: Codes, Circuits & Climate 3/6/26 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Explore cybersecurity, computing, and environmental science as you earn your STEM Career Exploration Badge during STEM in Action: Codes, Circuits & Climate. Visit our Star Lab planetarium to learn about light pollution and discover your personal water footprint while observing an Enviroscape, a plastic model that emulates a watershed. You’ll learn to complete circuitry with Squishy Circuits conductive dough and dive into coding your own secret language with Caesar Cipher wheels. Adults who attend can choose to participate in an engineering challenge.

BYTE BACK and take control of your online identity! This program will leave Girl Scouts and parents equipped with the tools and knowledge to combat virtual threats such as online harassment, bullying, exploitation, scams, and deepfakes/AI.
Join our panel of professionals working in cybersecurity, law enforcement, psychology, and more. Girl Scouts will not only learn the importance of online privacy, but the line of reporting when faced with virtual conflicts. We'll learn about today's dangers plaguing the world of technology, learn how to recognize and support a young person facing online threats, and learn practical tools to help us navigate safely online.

Come prepared for a day packed with exciting hands-on activities and stage shows as you learn directly from women and girls in STEM at this STEM Fest powered by Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore! There is something for the whole family:
- Watch GSJS’s own robotics team, the TranSisters, in action as they showcase robots built by Girl Scouts themselves and learn more about what it takes to program a robot to do what the user needs!
- Be an active audience participant in the special stage show featuring Mad Science. Learn about temperature differentials as you explore dry ice and watch the magic of science happen and more!
