This two-hour course will introduce you to Girl Scouts and teach you
how to start and manage your troop. Some of the topics that will be
covered are: What to do before your first Troop meeting, the
importance of a Parent meeting, Troop Finances, using the Volunteer
Toolkit, Resources, and more.
Prerequisites: Girl Scout
membership, approved background check.
On-time arrival and attendance for the full period with
a post-webinar evaluation are required to receive credit.
This
is a webinar. Participants will receive an email no
later than 8:00 AM for morning trainings and 3:00 PM for evening
training on the day of the training.**
Registration for
training typically remains open until the day before the training
unless otherwise noted in the description. A minimum of three (3)
people must be registered at least one week prior to the training, or
the training will be canceled.
