Thank you for the opportunity to share information on how you can become a Girl Scout Volunteer. Whether you have an hour or two once a week or even just a couple of times a year we would like you to become a part of Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Andrea Miller at 800.582.7692 ext. 202 or send Andrea an email at amiller@gscsnj.org. Please list your name, contact information, and county.

Follow these four simple steps to become a volunteer
Step 1 — Meet with a volunteer or staff member and discuss the various opportunities available for you.
Step 2 — Complete and return the volunteer application. At this time you may also complete a registration form and become a member of Girl Scouts if you are not one already.
Step 3 — Complete the appropriate training for the opportunity that you have selected.
Step 4 — Receive your appointment confirmation and begin!
Because of the Girl
By Mimi Murray, National Operational Volunteer
Because the girl has a need,
We have an obligation.
Because the girl has a choice,
We must be her better choice.
Because the girl has expectations,
We must excel.
Because the girl wants to explore,
We must be her guide.
Because the girl wants to belong,
We must open our arms.
Because the girl is searching for direction,
We must be her compass.
Because the girl encounters times of turmoil,
We must be her safe haven.
Because the girl is tomorrow’s woman,
We must teach her to lead today.
Because of the girl…We exist!
